Year End Wrap Up!

Another year has come and gone. I've seen great things happen this year. I've experienced horrible things happen. I'm looking forward to a fantastic 2011!

Well that's it! I wrapped up the year in pictures and memories. What a year it was. Looking forward to another year with my family.

OH.MY.GOSH! Where has the time gone?! I can't believe you are now 2 years old!! Seriously Addison, I can't not remember what life was like without you! You have become such a little person in the last 3 months its crazy! You say new words and do new things each and every day. Our biggest adventure lately? Potty training!! You're doing so well, I'm so proud of you! Only had 3 accidents at school on Wednesday but went pee in the potty 4 times! Thursday you only had 1 accident!

~loves to do puzzles with dadda


Addison- you are the most important part of my life. I wake up each and every day so happy to be alive and have you as my daughter. Even though you have started already with the "terrible 2" stage, I wouldn't trade it for the world. You are a polite, thoughtful, SMART!!!, happy and talented little girl. I just really can't express how much I love you monkey. Hope you have a great birthday!

Merry Christmas!

Phew it's been a long couple of days! Thursday was Addi's school party which was a blast!!

Nothing like cupcakes at 9:30!

Santa came 2 days early to give the kids presents!

Friday morning we went over to my dads house to exchange gifts and have lunch. Christmas is definitely more fun with 3 little kids running around!

Friday night Kyle's parents and brother came over for dinner and presents. Addi couldn't get enough of her Uncle Erik. When he took his girlfriend home she kept saying "Where'd Erik go?" It was too cute!

Santa made his way to our house late last night. We woke up at 5:30 this morning (AAAHHHH!) and opened up presents. Addi was SO excited! She even opened up Kyle and I's because she didn't want to share lol

This afternoon we headed off to Kyle's aunt and uncles house where again, Uncle Erik couldn't leave Addi's sight.

This is what happens to little girls who wake up at 5:30 and play all morning with new toys....

After the Ledbetter Christmas we went to my aunt and uncles house. Little did I know that Santa would make a quick stop there too! Hahah addi hated it.

Maybe one day I can get a good picture of the 3 of them....

All in all it was a great Christmas! We have one more party tomorrow and that's with my mom's side. We are going to Gel's for lunch/dinner then back here for presents. Should be a great time!

I'm going to go wake my snoring husband up and tell him to go upstairs...

RIP Papa

My papa (mom's dad...the only grandparent I have left) died this morning. While I won't go into details, let's just say it wasn't pretty and it was very, very unexpected. He leaves a lot of un answered questions and a lot of people that are very hurt and pissed off. Only time is going to heal the pain and right now I don't know what to do.

My uncles are on their way/almost here from NC and FL. I'm sure my nana's family will be in from NY this weekend. We are going tomorrow to set up the arrangements.

This is definitely NOT the way I wanted to remember the holidays/spend the next 4 days off work.

So I know you're up there Papa, seeing Nana again after all these years, while you're at it could you find my grandma and Mark and give them a big hug and kiss for me? And tell them to continue to watch over us and watch Emileigh, Addison, Mason and Brayden grow up? And tell nana that I've become an ah-mazing baker, and we'll all be ok. You're in a better place now. No more hurting. No more pain.

I love you. I miss you already and it's only been 13 hours.

Y3W-Bottomless Toy Chest

The Bottomeless Toy Chest is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization devoted to delivering art projects, crafts and interactive toys to hospitalized pediatric cancer patients.

I have been given a challenge by my MK sales director to collect donations of $25 for teenage girls suffering from cancer. Now what does your donation do? The number one request from teen girls is make up and skin care and being an MK consultant I'm able to help make their day a little brighter (and their face!) . Think about it. When you were in your teens what did you want? Make up. Wouldn't it be nice to give a cancer patient something that would make their day?

So if you'd like to help out, let me know. Thank you in advance!

Blizzard 2010

Yesterday it started snowing around 10am and it hasn't stopped. Not even a little bit. There's wind gusts up to 45mph, lake effect snow, complete weather nightmare out there. SO bad in fact, Porter and LaPorte was in a state of emergency today (which they have extended until tomorrow). There was no school today and pretty much everything was closed...well except for my work. I didn't go in though because Addi's school had no power and a tree fell in the yard, blocking the drive ways. We stayed home, watched movies, took a nap on the couch, made cookies and had a good day staying at home. Nana even ventured out and came over!

SO glad that we only have a 2 hour delay so far tomorrow. I need to get out of this house and Addi needs to get back to school. It's like she knew she wasn't suppose to be home today. She kept 'calling' her friends and talking to them. Poor baby, misses her friends :(
