Teeth? What Teeth? OH THESE Teeth!!

Addison is now up to 9 teeth. Top and bottom 4 then a random bottom molar. Not sure when that came through but it's been there for a while. Now she's working on more. Only took 11 months to pop ONE tooth, I guess I will take a midly cranky baby for lots more teeth! For a long time the joke was that she was going to be a "toothless toddler"! ha! Not so much anymore!!

We went to the dr last week and had her 15 month check up...only a month late, but who's counting.... ANYWAYS! I'm a horrible mom and didn't know she needed 15m shots (whoops!) so she had to get those as well.

She is 24.4lbs (70th percentile), 31 5/8in (75th percentile) and her head is 47.5cm (85th percentile). I told her she has a big head because her brain is so big, she giggled. She knows it's true. That girl is too smart for her own good! We go in July for her 18m check up (again, a month late) and to get her last (I hope!) round of booster shots. I guess I shouldn't complain about the shots, she cries for a minute and is ready to go.

My phone took a crap today. No iPhone=not sure what I'll do with my time! Luckily I have my old blackjackII but that is not an iPhone. It's also SUPER slow. The phone isn't charging, which means I can't back up my phone, which means I can't get the pictures off. Luckily I just transfered a bunch a few days away at work, I'll just put email them to myself and sync it up. It's just going to take A LOT of work to put everything back together :(


Alright off to Zumba. This will be my fist time back since last Monday. I had the flu and strep throat last week. Ugh I feel huge and need a good stress reliever!

WishList Wednesday

I'd really love to have this room turned into a play room/family room. It is in the process of becoming one but I want it done NOW!! But that requires money, money we don't have at the moment.



I'd also love to take Addison to the zoo soon. I would like to go when it isn't so crowded but also on a day when it's not 50 degrees.



I'd also love to go on vacation. Don't care where. Just somewhere. Kyle and I haven't been on a vacation in 4 years. Unless you count going to my grandparents cottage in Wilcott, IN as a vacation then its been since Labor Day last year. I/We want to go somewhere for our 1 year anniversary. He says Canada. I say no. We'd like to go somewhere that's far away but at the same time close enough that we could come home if something were to happen with Addison. Any suggestions?!

Playtime Fun!

On Saturday we took Addison and Emileigh out to dinner and then over to Menards and Home Depot to look for flooring for the back room. Hilbo and Ky are just full of exciting times! When we got back into town Kyle bought the girls ice cream. Nothing like loading up a 2 1/2 yr old and a 15 month old on sugar! But it was special treat and the girls were VERY VERY (did I say very???!) good with the running around we did.

Even thought it was a bit cold, we played outside while we ate ice cream and enjoyed a nice spring afternoon.

I love when the girls play together. They get along so well. Emileigh was saying all throughout the stores "this is my cousin. she's assin" (She can't say Addison) She would also "yell" at Addi when she would stand in the cart, or tell me about it. "Hilbo Assin standing up. Assin 1, 2 don't make me tell your mommy" I was laughing SO hard at that one! It will be fun to see Emileigh, Addison and Mason all play when Mason is a little older. Who by the way just started crawling! He's so big now!

Thankful Thursday

I'm going to play along this week with The Foster Family and say what I'm thankful for. Ready? OK. Good!

~My family. I wish we were a little closer with my dads side of the family but it's still nice that we all live in the same town and over the years we have all become closer since we are getting older and realizing what is important in life.

~My husband. We may fight and bicker over the stupidest stuff but at the end of the day he's the one I come home to and the one who can make me laugh. I think it's funny that we weren't even supposed to date each other because "I don't want to loose my best friend" and then not supposed to go public with our relationship "we're just going to be friends who fool around" to moving in together after 2 years of dating, buying a house after 4 and having a baby and getting married after 6. It will be 7 of the craziest years of my life on April 19th. I love you baby

~My daughter. I don't even know where to start. I/we can't remember our lives with Addison. OK maybe the rest full nights, the carefree days of not having to worry about a sitter/not fighting over who's turn it is to go out, but I wouldn't trade that for anything. I love our weekends together. All day Sunday we sit in our PJ's and watch cartoons. Or play outside if its nice. We all cuddle on the couch and watch Blue's Clues. Or Mickey Mouse. Or whatever Addison happens to be into at the moment. I wouldn't trade that for anything. Being called momma is quite possibly the best thing in the world.

~My friends-new and old. Over the years I have truly learned who my friends are. I'm not saying I was part of the popular crowd at school but I did hang out with alot of people. Over the years we have drifted but I can for sure say I have come to realize who the true ones out there are. I had lost contact with a friend from middle school, only to run into her at a bar and now we talk every day, our kids are best friends and she has gotten me back into working out. I met a girl from a mom website and we are now best friends. Even with a 2 hour drive between us we talk every day, email pictures of our kids and have planned visits throughout the summer. And of course there are my other mommy friends and my single/no kid friends to help me remember to have fun!

~My job. With so many people unemployed these days I am grateful for my job. As much as I loved staying home with Addison for 7 months and love having my Friday off every couple weeks, I can also tell how much she loves going to school and playing with her friends. We both need that time apart.

~My house. Again, with the unemployment, come foreclosure. I'm so incredibly lucky that kyle still has his job and we can pay our bills. Sure I may complain but at least we have a place to call home.

Easter 2010

The Easter bunny came on Sunday morning and brought Addi all sorts of fun things. She is really in to bubbles now so he brought some for her. She got shoes, color wonder paper, bubbles, and Elmo eggs. She also got a fancy breakfast of pancakes, eggs and orange juice...which is her favorite.

After G&G L's house we went over to my dads and ate there (I'm in desperate need of hitting the gym after this weekend!!). My dad had a little egg hunt for the girls. It was nice to see a tradition that I did when I was little being carried over to Addison, Emileigh and Mason.




Kyle asked Addi if she wanted some candy. She said "ya!"

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood :)

For the last two days we have been going to the park after I get off work. Gone are the days of her playing on a blanket while I chat with friends! She's climbing on everything, going down the slides, running around, NOT going on the swing-she absolutely HATES swings. Hates them I tell ya!



Let's not pay attention to the all the dead leaves and plants :)

Today Addi is in a skirt and a tshirt. Tomorrow I'm thinking a dress :) I need to go shopping for summer clothes. She only has jeans and long sleeve shirts. Who knew it would be 80 degrees in April?!
