Drum roll please......
Addison is now 17lbs (70th percentile) 26 1/4 inches (65th percentile) and head size is 42.7cms (60th percentile)!
Lets take a look back at Dec 28th, 2008
7lbs 12 oz (50th percentile) 20 inches (50th percentile) head size 35.4cms (30th percentile).
Man, she sure has grown!
Bad news-she has a double ear infection that I knew NOTHING about. Just today she started to get a little cranky, but nothing major. I just figured it was because she woke up early and hasn't taken great naps today. How wrong was I? I feel so bad that I didn't know she had an ear infection, just like last time :(

All About Addison
Munchkin is now 6 months old!! I can't even believe it! It seems like yesterday I found out I was pregnant and today she's 6 months old! Time sure does fly. Pretty soon she'll be walking. and talking. then talking back. school. driving. prom. graduation. college. Whoa, I need to slow down and cherish these days! We spent the day at the park with some friends. She fell asleep in the swing like usual. Next weekend I'm hoping to get her ears pierced. I'm really sick of people asking me if she's a boy. HELLO! She's in pink. Boys don't wear pink with ladybugs or tiaras on thier clothes do they? Uhh it just drives me crazy!
Addison, I can't belive how big you are. You are now sitting up like a pro, holding your own bottle, reaching for everything, talking nonstop, you have found your voice and now love to yell. We have yelling matches and you always win. Dad has quickly become your new favorite person. The dogs amaze you. You could watch them for hours. Cory lets you lay all over her, pull her hair and eat her ears. You have tried all solids now. Excepts meats and dinners. Those we are waiting on until you are at least 8 or 9 months. This milk allergy isn't fun. You can't have any teething biscuits, baby cookies, anything. Your reflux is improving thanks to the meds. You give me kisses when you wake up. I love the drooling, eating my face kind of kisses most. We left alone with a sitter (other than nana or grandpa) for the first time and I only called once! We love you more than anything in this world. You truly are amazingly wonderful. You are the best baby. I love you Addison.

Weekend fun
Saturday was jam packed with family get-together-ness. Which is usually not so much fun, but today it was. First up-my step sisters open house. Addison was passed around from person to person. Didn't cry, laughed at everything it was great. I was able to take a break and mingle without having to worry about her. Up next-Mile's 3rd birthday party. I wish she was old enough to enjoy a moon bounce. Oh well, there's always next year. We hung out there for a while then headed home so the little one could take a nap. She was up for going on 5 hours and still going strong! BUT a nap for a baby who knew we had more things to do just wasn't in the plans. She only slept for 45 minutes. Off to Jay and Ali's engagment party. Jay and Ali live in California and don't come out much so they kidnapped her for pretty much the entire time we were there. Again SO nice! I can't believe how well behaved Addison was. It was amazing. We ended the night with a bath and a semi-sleep over at nana's while mom and dad went to a friends house. Came home waaay to late.. Addison got up waaay to early.
Sunday it was Father's Day. I gave Kyle his cards and the collageI made Addison made. Then it was off ring shopping! For kyle, not me. He actually wanted to go into jewelry stores and didn't settle for something he was just "ok" with. We ended up finding one at Zale's. He kept asking me how I liked it. I told him I don't care. It's your ring, you're going to be the one wearing it every day for the rest of your life. The sales lady just laughed. My mom had a cookout for the family and we hung out over there for the majority of the evening. It was a nice relaxing day...well after the mall anyways...
I really can't believe my bachelorette party is this weekend...CRAZY! Still haven't set a date yet for the ceremony. I can't come up with a date. I was thinking July 3rd but Kyle has to work to get paid for the holiday (which totally makes sense). Then 7-8-09 but Kyle said thats stupid. So now i'm stuck. Any suggestions??

Well I definitely think its true...
That Addison has a milk allergy :(
I gave her a Baby Mum Mum teething buscuit last night, only to see the wrapper AFTER she ate it that it may contain milk. 20 minutes later she was whinning in pain. Which led to not sleeping well last night which meant cranky baby today. She got out of her mood after her second feeding. Anyone know where I can get some milk free teething buscuits? She really loves them.
So Jen, do you want some teething buscuits for Hannah? I have 2 boxes. 1 baby mum mum veggie flavor and one earths best organic wheat teething buscuits. They are just going to go to waste here. Let me know.

We have a sitter! and other new stuff....

One friday night we were playing on the floor and I put Addison on the sitting position and she stayed there! We played for about an hour with her sitting up!! She has only fell backwards once hitting her head on the floor. She usually goes to the side then goes on her belly. So we can now do this in the bath...

I've also taken her to the doctor to figure out why she's so whinny all the time. It's constant. From the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes to sleep. sometimes in her sleep. I can't handle it anymore. So off we went. First it was her reflux acting up again. She was put back on her medicine. That helped with the spitting up but the whinning was still there. And getting worse. So Thursday we went back. She was tested for a urinary tract infection. Negative. Then we talked about her formula. She got switched from enfimal gentle ease to similac allimentum. It's for protien allergy babies. So she' might have a protien allergy. that would mean NO milk products. possibly ever. No ice cream! How can someone live w/o having ice cream?! My poor baby :( We go back at the end of the month for her 6 month check up. I'm going to ask about the blood test for the protien allergy. So far the formula change has helped. Now she just wants to be held and carried around all day, kind of hard to do when I'm trying to clean and do laundry.
She has also discovered Cory. They are now best friends...it may not look like it, but Cory lets her lay all over her and pull on her all day.

So much to do...AHHH!
I don't think I realized how stressful planning a reception in 6 weeks would be. Until now. I have:
the date-July 25th.
the photographer-Jen. YAY!
I have my ring (from my grandma who passed away 2 years ago. Its amazing. I need to take a picture of it).
a location-dads house.
I need:
Time frame...does 4-10 sound good? too long?
date for the ceremony-option to have beore the reception or at the beach
kyle's ring
some sort of dress/skirt/outfit
flowers for me? If so, stargazer lillies
food-chicken and brats and hotdogs for the kids sound good?
paper products-going to GFS tomorrow or friday to check out prices
send out invites-first week of july
beer/alcohol-kyle parents?
I really love my whole family's ideas but I dont think they know that I'm NOT made of money. Yes yes I know, I thought I was too. First my future MIL wanted me to spend big bucks on the invites. Then my mom gets angry about a photographer-she thought I spent like thousands of dollars..again, like I have that kind of money.
I can't even imagine what it would be like if I was having a real big time ceremony. I'm sure I'd go crazy before it even happened. Don't know how all the brides out there do it!
Back to getting addresses together. *sigh*

A Little Backwards Some May Say...
We have a date for the reception---July 25th
I have a date for my bachelorette party---June 27th
In the middle of that we're getting family/Addison 6 months pictures taken.
Yet we still have no date for the actual ceremony---we're not doing the whole white dress, bridal party etc etc thing...just a small ceremony with a friend who's a minister and our parents.
HoHum...I wish kyle wouldn't drag his feet about this. How is setting a date for the reception easier than setting a date for the ceremony?
But tomorrow I get to pick out my ring from my grandmother's collection. How I love heirloom jewelry.

And the Big news is...
I'm Engaged!
we're just going to the courthouse because 1) we cant' afford a real wedding 2) the white dress, tuxes flowers etc doesn't matter to us and 3) does anyone really remember the wedding anyways (besides the bride and groom of course)?
So w/in the next couple weeks I will be Mrs. Ledbetter! WHOA! never thought I'd see myself writing that!

Welcome Back...NOT!
Addison was diagnosed with Silent Reflux yesterday. FUN! I thought we were done with the projectile vomiting, the spit up, the tears after eating. But no, the mean 'ole reflux decided to rear its' ugly head again *sigh*. We are back to giving Prilosec two times a day for who knows how long. At least with Kyle's new insurance it isn't $40 a month. I can live with $10. Now I just hope it kicks in fast. I can't deal with the whinning anymore. Not that I dont love my daughter with everything I have, it's just so hard to hear her whine and cry all day knowing I can't do or give her anything to take the pain away.
We started the medicine last night and it seems to be getting worse actually. Today it's been ridiculous. From the minute she woke up at 8 to the minute she takes naps she whines. Nothing consoles her. I can't do anything. It breaks my heart. I have to call the dr tomorrow and ask about switching formula AGAIN. I've read that milk based formulas can make it worse. So I want to know if that's true or just a suggestion.
So that has been my last couple of days. I think I will be sharing some great news here shortly. Can you handle the suspense??

Not Me Monday!!
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
I found this blog from Kayleigh's blog. She's absolutely hilarious, touching and very informative!
So anyway, here's my Not Me! Monday post! Enjoy!
I most certainly do not let Addison talk to herself in the morning so I can get another 30-45 minutes of sleep. Nope! Not me!
I also did not put some of Kyle's clothes-that he hasn't worn in over 5 years- into a the garage sale pile and when he asked what was in the totes I did not say "oh just my clothes, baby clothes, ya know, stuff" NOPE! I would never do such a thing!
I do not just give Addison her pacifier at night in hopes she realizes that she doesn't need to eat every 4 hours. Nope, not me!
I also do not 'accidently' forget the dogs are outside, in hopes that the black one will just run away. NEVER.
I also never ever just sit on the computer all day until 20 minutes before kyle gets home when I start picking up the house. Nope.
I also don't leave the tv on when I'm not home. How dare Kyle blame me for that!
So that was my little attempt at my first Not Me! Monday! How'd ya like it?
