Yesterday it started snowing around 10am and it hasn't stopped. Not even a little bit. There's wind gusts up to 45mph, lake effect snow, complete weather nightmare out there. SO bad in fact, Porter and LaPorte was in a state of emergency today (which they have extended until tomorrow). There was no school today and pretty much everything was closed...well except for my work. I didn't go in though because Addi's school had no power and a tree fell in the yard, blocking the drive ways. We stayed home, watched movies, took a nap on the couch, made cookies and had a good day staying at home. Nana even ventured out and came over!

SO glad that we only have a 2 hour delay so far tomorrow. I need to get out of this house and Addi needs to get back to school. It's like she knew she wasn't suppose to be home today. She kept 'calling' her friends and talking to them. Poor baby, misses her friends :(
